The Israeli occupation authorities decided to reduce the area of fishing from the Gaza port area to the north from 6 to 1 miles from the day.
The occupying forces also decided to maintain a distance of six miles from the Gaza port to the Gaza Valley, in addition to keeping a distance of 9 miles from the valley to the far south of the strip.
This area does not meet the needs of fishermen under the difficult conditions they are living in and the continuing Israeli aggressions against them in the Gaza sea.
The decision to reduce the area of fishing in the north of the sector will deprive many fishermen of work, especially since the fish are always located within 6 miles.
The decision to reduce the area of fishing came a day after the ceasefire in Gaza was installed between the factions of the Israeli resistance and occupation after the recent wave of Israeli escalation against the strip.
