The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed today, Tuesday, that a complete halt to the power plant will have serious repercussions.
In a brief statement, Ashraf al-Qidra, the ministry’s spokesman, said that the first victims are the lives of premature babies in nurseries, intensive care patients, kidney failure, and the cessation of surgeries and cesarean deliveries.
Several parties in Gaza have warned of the serious impact of stopping the plant’s work on the health, economic and environmental situation.
