Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that 3 deaths, 612 new cases of Coronavirus and 83 recoveries had been recorded during the last 24 hours.
Al-Kailah added, in a press statement, that the deaths were recorded in Beit Ula and the city of Hebron and Yatta in the Hebron governorate, and it was announced yesterday evening.
She indicated that the new infections were distributed among the governorates as follows:
Hebron Governorate (140).
Nablus governorate (57).
Bethlehem Governorate (45).
Qalqilya Governorate (30).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (40).
Jericho and Al Aghwar governorate (44).
Jenin Governorate (6).
Tulkarm Governorate (11).
Gaza Strip (8).
Jerusalem governorate (231), including 81 in the suburbs.
Al-Kaila added that new recoveries were recorded in the following governorates:
Tulkarm Governorate (11).
Qalqilya Governorate (20).
Jenin Governorate (2).
The City of Jerusalem (50).
She explained that the recovery rate reached 60%, while the rate of active injuries reached 39.5%, and deaths were 0.5% of the total injuries recorded in Palestine.
Al-Kailah pointed out that there are 24 patients in intensive care rooms, including 7 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
