Netanyahu: We are at the height of our battle in Gaza until the calm returns

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that his government is at the height of its battle against "terrorism" in the Gaza Strip.

"It involves an exchange of blows and it will not end with a single stroke," he said, adding that Israel's demand is clear: a complete cease-fire, and no less.

Netanyahu claimed that the Israeli army had destroyed hundreds of Hamas military targets in Gaza.

He said:  "Every round at less believe the army is a heavy price of enthusiasm."

He said he would not reveal the army's ready-made operational plans, stressing that the aim was to restore calm to the cover of Gaza.

"Yesterday we received conclusive evidence of the challenge against the existence of the State of Israel and the law of nationalism, we saw yesterday the PLO's flags flying in the heart of Tel Aviv, and we heard the cheers With our souls with our blood we redeem you Palestine.

"Many demonstrators want to repeal the law of Return and the national anthem, they want to close our flag and abolish Israel as a nation-state of the Jewish people, they want to turn it, as their spokesmen say, to an Israeli-Palestinian state, and others say it must be transformed into a state of every Its citizens  ".

"For this very reason we have passed the law of nationalism, we are proud of our state, our knowledge, our national anthem, Israel is a Jewish and democratic state, and the rights of its individual citizens are well anchored in basic laws and other laws."


He stressed that Israel needed more law than ever before. "We need it in order to ensure the future of the State of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, we passed this law and we will preserve this law," he added.
