"A total strike in all Palestinian territories, especially the Green Line, is intended to send a message confirming the resistance of the population to all attempts at discrimination and racism," said Yusuf Jabarin, a member of the Knesset's Joint Arab list, on Monday.
"The strike is a message to refuse to continue discrimination and racism against the Arab public," Jabarin said.
Jabarin expressed his refusal to "give Arab citizens a lower degree of citizenship as a second or third degree," he said.
"We are born in this country, we will fight for full national civil equality and equal citizenship for all," he said.
