Arrests in Sheikh Jarrah affect Palestinians and solidarity activists

The occupation police forces arrested a Palestinian youth, and a number of foreign solidarity activists, from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, today, Friday.
Local media reported that among the detainees was Islam Ghatit, during a sit-down in the neighborhood during which the Palestinian flag was raised in front of the occupation forces.
A number of residents of the neighborhood performed Friday afternoon prayers in the place, in the presence of the occupation police.
