Gaza Health: The rate of breast cancer cases is 16 cases per 100,000 population

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said today, Tuesday, that the incidence of breast cancer is 16 cases per 100,000 population, and 32 women per 100,000 females.
According to the ministry, 324 new cases of breast cancer were registered during the past year.
The Ministry indicated that breast cancer represents 32% of the types of cancers that affect females, while it represents 14.3% of cancer deaths, while the percentage of men suffering from breast cancer out of the total cancer cases is 1.2%.
