6 deaths and 1,863 new infections with the Corona virus

Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, reported that 6 deaths, 1,863 new infections with the Corona virus, and 470 cases of recovery were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation, Al-Kaila indicated that the new deaths were recorded in the governorates of Nablus (1), Jenin (1), Salfit (1), and the Gaza Strip (3).
She said that the new infections were recorded as follows: “Tulkarem 184, Qalqilya 88, Nablus 278, Salfit 49, Jenin 78, Jerusalem suburbs 11, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 93, Tubas 21, Hebron 34, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2, Bethlehem 4, Gaza Strip.” 1021".
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Tulkarem 38, Qalqilya 7, Nablus 117, Salfit 5, Jenin 37, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 37, Tubas 12, Hebron 6, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 11, and the Gaza Strip 200.”
She indicated that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 94.8%, while the percentage of active infections was 4.1%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 38 patients in intensive care rooms, while 105 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 6 patients on artificial respirators.
With regard to the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 809,305, including 450,197 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
