Official Israeli statistics showed that the number of Palestinians inside the country reached two million and 65 thousand people with the advent of the Hebrew New Year.
According to statistics published by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, approximately 400,000 of them are residents of Jerusalem and the Golan.
They represent 21% of the population of the areas known as the “Green Line.”
While the number of Israelis is 9 million and 795 thousand people, an increase of 194 thousand people over the last census last year, a clear increase of 2%.
The Department of Statistics expected that the population of "Israel" would rise to 10 million at the end of the year 2024, and that this number would reach 15 million people by the year 2048, and to 20 million in the year 2065.
