The Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinians from the West Bank on Wednesday and summoned four other citizens, including fatah´s secretary general and the director of the Al-Assir Club in Jerusalem.
Our correspondent reported that the occupation authorities arrested former Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Khaled Abu Arafa (59) after he was summoned to investigate Camp Ofer.
The chairman of the Committee of Prisoners of Jerusalem Amjad Abu Assab said: "The prisoner, who was liberated and deported from Jerusalem, engineer Khaled Irahim Ishaq Abu Arafa, 59, the former Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, was transferred by the Israeli intelligence services to arrest him.
He added: "Abu Arafa has already been arrested several times and spent years inside prisons, and the occupation authorities removed him from the Holy City the moment he was freed from captivity in 2014,
Abu Arafa had been protesting against the decision to deport him along with members of the Legislative Council, Ahmed Atoun and Mohammed Totah, in a tent at the Red Cross Foundation in Jerusalem."
It is noteworthy that the occupation pursues the Holy figures with arrest and deportation decisions and calls are made on a daily basis to the Moscobiya Investigation Center in Room 4.
The israeli occupation forces arrested 17-year-old Osman Jalaj while he was at the Bab al-Rahma mosque at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the official news agency said.
In a related context, the occupation authorities summoned The Secretary-General of Fatah, Shadi al-Mas´ad, a member of the Fatah region in Jerusalem, Ahad al-Rasheed, the director of the Al-Assir Al-Quds Al-Assir Club, Nasser Qus, and raed Hijazi, for questioning.
In Hebron, israeli occupying forces arrested six citizens, including an elderly man, in the Old City of Hebron.
According to activist Aref Jaber, the israeli occupation forces arrested an "unidentified" elderined neighborhood of Jaber, near the Tomb of the Patriarchs, after he was searched by Israeli soldiers while he was passing through the street, allegedly possessing a knife.
The forces also arrested five citizens during raids carried out in al-Fawwar refugee camp and the town of Sa´ir, southeast of Hebron, namely: Jawad Ziad Ahdeeb, Ibrahim Ali Abu Warda, Hassan Akram Zaghmut, Ali Musa Jardat, ali Musa Jardat, and in the territories of 48, arrested Mu´tasim Yusuf Madi, 28, from Al-Arub refugee camp.
In Ramallah, the forces arrested six citizens, including a woman: Wael al-Takiz, Shadi Mahmoud Zebar, Mohammed Yusuf Zebar, Mahmoud Yusuf Zebar, raed Zebar´s wife and Ayman Abu Sa´i.
