Palestine records the largest number of infections ... 1000 new cases of Coronavirus, and 7 deaths

Today, Thursday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 1,000 new infections with the Coronavirus, and 7 deaths, were recorded during the past 24 hours, after carrying out 5,714 examinations.

In the report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah said that the new deaths were recorded for a 78-year-old citizen of Yatta who was suffering from heart disease, pressure and diabetes, and a 40-year-old citizen from Al-Samou ´who suffered from kidney failure, and a 39-year-old citizen Qalqilya meant a diabetic, a 65-year-old citizen from Nablus who suffered from kidney failure, diabetes and high blood pressure, and a 88-year-old citizen of Bethlehem who suffered from a stroke and diabetes, while a 6-month-old infant died. From Gaza City, and an elderly citizen from Wadi al-Joz in Jerusalem.

Al-Kaila explained that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 68.5%, while the rate of active infections reached 30.9%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.

She indicated that the new infections were distributed among the governorates as follows:

Hebron Governorate (101).

Nablus governorate (82).

Bethlehem Governorate (51).

Qalqilya Governorate (35).

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (112).

Jenin (14).

Jericho and Al Aghwar (30).

Tubas (28).

Tulkarm (18).

Salfit (22).

Gaza Strip (195).

Suburbs of Jerusalem (57).

The City of Jerusalem (255).

The Minister of Health added that new recoveries were recorded in each of:

Jenin Governorate (19).

Qalqilya Governorate (33).

Tubas Governorate (3).

The suburbs of Jerusalem (300).

The City of Jerusalem (135).

The Minister of Health indicated that there are 31 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 10 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
