Jordan extends ban on activities of Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem

Israeli Defense Minister Gilad Erdan signed an extension of a decision to ban Palestinian Authority activity in East Jerusalem after a recommendation by the Shin Bet and Israeli police on the matter.

The decision signed by Ardan defines the activities of Orient House institutions, as well as the Chamber of Commerce, the Supreme Council for Tourism, the Center for Palestinian Studies, the Palestinian Prisoner Club and the headquarters of social and statistical studies.

He attributed the decision on the pretext that these parties are affiliated to the Palestinian Authority. Stressing that Israel will not relinquish the sovereignty of Jerusalem.
