H.E. Mr. Takeshi Okobo, Japanese ambassador, inaugurated the solar energy Project of the Department of Industrial College at Abu Yousef al-Najjar hospital in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, with the implementation of the Palestine Charitable Society and the cost of $84 thousand dollars, and in his speech at a ceremony held on this occasion Dr. Atef Al-Hout Director Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital is pleased with the achievement of this vital and important project which will greatly contribute to the continued provision of service to patients of kidney failure, away from the anxiety that prevailed the disastrous effects of the siege that threw heavy burden on the joints of health work, as Dr. Al-Hout praised the support and position of the state Japan´s brotherly approach to Palestine and its just cause in international forums, and I hope this project will be an indication of the continued implementation of other health projects that enable the Palestinian patient to have access to adequate health care.
Japanese Ambassador Takeshi Okobo said the project is only a contribution to the health sector, especially Abu Yousef al-Najjar hospital, to help provide health care for patients, noting that hospitals in Gaza Strip are facing significant challenges due to the brutal siege, especially the electricity crisis that The ministry´s resources are depleted in the search for solutions, and Mr Okobo expressed his pride and pride in the project, which will benefit 150 patients and contribute to the improvement of health services in Rafah.
Emad al-Agha, deputy chairman of the Palestine Tender Association, praised the project, which is part of a series of relief projects carried out by the Association, noting the association´s contribution from a basket of relief and humanitarian projects, in advance of the Assembly´s thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Japanese ambassador and to the State of Japan Sister for her generous support to various sectors in Palestine.
