Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque compound on Monday morning, quoting sources in the Islamic Waqf department as saying that 35 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque from the "Bab al-Mughrabi" and wandered in their courtyards, amid receiving explanations about the alleged "structure".
It noted that members of the Israeli police and heavily armed special forces had protected the Al-Aqsa mosque intruders and escorted them to the "door of the series".
Incursions are carried out on a daily basis except Friday and Saturday, during the morning and evening periods (after noon prayers) and for four and a half hours (total).
