The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, today, Friday, that it had recorded 11 deaths and 1,673 new cases of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The ministry indicated in its daily report that the central laboratory examined 3,400 new samples during the same period.
She indicated that 592 new recoveries from the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries to 60,404.
As for the total number of people infected with the virus in the Gaza Strip since about 78,980 cases, of whom 17,915 are active cases, while the death toll has reached 661 deaths.
She explained that the total number of cases that need medical care within the hospital amounted to 325 cases, of which 259 are in serious and critical condition.
It indicated that the total doses reached the Gaza Strip 81,600 doses, which are sufficient to vaccinate 40,800 citizens, while the total number of people who received the vaccine reached 29,808.
