Israeli warplanes bombed a site of the al-Qassam Brigades in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening (at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night).
According to our correspondent in the Gaza Strip, helicopters and drones bombed the Ashkelon military post of al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, north-west of the town of Beit Lahia to the northwest of the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that planes bombed the site more than once and at least five rockets, and bombed an agricultural area adjacent to the site without reporting casualties.
Al-Qassam Brigades was martyred and four others were injured in an Israeli bombing attack on a resistance checkpoint east of the al-Bureij refugee camp east of the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday, moments after an Israeli officer was shot by a sniper from Gaza.
Israeli military sources accused the Islamic Jihad movement of standing behind the attack.
