Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished 3 homes in occupied Jerusalem, bringing the toll from the morning hours to four.
The official news agency reported that the occupation forces demolished a two-apartment house in the Al-Balaa neighborhood in Jabal Al-Mukaber, east of Jerusalem, belonging to the two brothers Khaled and Munir Al-Abbasi Under the pretext of not having a permit, knowing that the occupation municipality will impose a fine on them, on the pretext that they did not self-demolish it.
She added that these forces demolished two other homes in the Shuafat camp and al-Sala´a neighborhood in Jabal al-Mukaber, after forcing their owners to self-demolish the two homes this week, and today they leveled them with the ground.
These forces also demolished this morning a house in the Ras Khamis neighborhood of the Shuafat camp, which consisted of two rooms that were roofed with tinplate.
Statistics indicate that the number of homes demolished in 2020 reached 197, 77 of which were forced by their owners to self-demolish, in order to avoid demolition costs, in case the municipality bulldozers did so.
