The occupation continues to pursue the strawberries of Gaza

The Israeli Ministry of Agriculture continues to pursue attempts to sell strawberries coming from the Gaza Strip in markets in various cities.

According to the Seventh Hebrew Channel, the ministry warned this morning against eating strawberries in "Ramat Hasharon", which turned out to be from Gaza.

To support its campaign against the sale of strip strawberries, the ministry claimed that unattended consumption of fruits and vegetables grown could pose a major public health risk.

The ministry announced yesterday that it had "thwarted" what it called "an attempt to market strawberries from the Gaza Strip" in the wholesale market in the "Givat Shaul neighborhood" in Jerusalem.

The ministry claimed that the strawberries "were packed in boxes with fake stickers on them to mislead the Israelis about their source, as if they were strawberries grown in Israel."

According to the same sources, the quantity of strawberries seized at the time was 300 kilograms, and they were confiscated.
