The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants called on the international community to suppress the racial discrimination practiced by Israel against the Palestinian people.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed in a press statement today, Saturday, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, "The right of our people, wherever they are, to enjoy their rights and without any prejudice to their inalienable legal rights, including their right to self-determination, national independence, sovereignty and the right of refugees to return ".
And saluted the "victory of the international will over the attempts of Israel, the occupying Power, to withhold the competence of the International Committee for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination from considering the complaint of Palestine, setting this example as a role model in championing the truth, promoting remedies and achieving justice."
The Foreign Office condemned Israel, the occupying Power, for continuing to deepen its serious violations of international law and its failure to comply with the clear legal standards contained in the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, or other sources of international humanitarian and human rights law, including the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial discrimination, stressing that the Israeli colonial occupation system was built on the basis of a racist and ideological thought that denies the existence of the Palestinian people and its authentic roots in this land.
She affirmed that she is continuing her efforts to hold Israel, the illegal occupation authority, responsible for its racist and illegal policies, and for its crimes against the Palestinian people, which lead in their entirety to forced displacement, which is in line with the expansionist colonial goals aimed at the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people from their land, specifically in its capital Jerusalem .
She stressed that "despite the historical injustice and attempts to write off and abolish our people for more than seventy-two years, it has always triumphed for its principles, humanity, and crystallization of its national personality in a manner that preserves these noble human principles and elevates these principles to become an integral part of the Palestinian social contract."
It called on the international community and all peoples of the free world to suppress the crimes of racial discrimination committed by Israel, through the colonial settlement system, and called on states to assume their responsibilities and take all legal measures to confront these crimes, including by withdrawing investments from illegal colonial settlements established on state land Palestine, and to stop dealing in all its forms, including the military, with this colonial regime.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that the State of Palestine will remain an original partner in preserving these noble human principles and fighting all forms of discrimination and racism, including the practices of the Israeli occupation, in order to protect the international legal system.
