Government spokesperson Yusuf al-Mahmoud blamed the Israeli occupation government for the continuation of the escalation, which is accompanied by an overall escalation against all of our Arab-Palestinian land, foremost among which is our eternal capital, occupied East Jerusalem.
The spokesman added that the international community bears an aspect of responsibility towards our people under siege and occupation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, foremost among which is our capital, occupied Jerusalem.
The spokesperson reiterated the request of the international community to implement its laws on the Palestinian issue, including the urgent provision of international protection, and to work for an end to the occupation and the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital throughout the fourth June of the year 1967.
