Russian Finance Minister Anton Silyanov said on Thursday that the plan to disengage the Russian economy with the dollar was prepared and presented to the Government.

The plan encourages exporters to gradually shift from the use of the dollar in transactions to the Russian ruble by 2024, and the rouble dealers in their settlements will have an accelerated return on value-added tax, the Minister Said.
The plan will not affect foreign currencies in the Russian deposits with local banks, he Added.
Russian officials have repeatedly proposed a shift from the dollar in favor of the ruble because of the US sanctions on RUSSIA.
