Elit Shaked, a member of israel´s "Right-wing" Knesset, said Saturday that her party would not allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
"We don´t know all the details, but I can say that we will not allow the land to be ceded to the Arabs or to anyone," Shesaid, commenting on the U.S. plan. Speaking to Israel´s Channel 12, Shaked added: "Our land is ours. In addition, we will not allow the recognition of a Palestinian state." According to him.
"We believe that a Palestinian state is dangerous for Israel and we will certainly not allow that to happen," the former Israeli justice minister continued.
"This plan seems to represent an excellent opportunity to apply Israeli law to the Jordan Valley and settlements in the West Bank," Shaked said.
"The President of the United States, his adviser Jared Kushner and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, are true friends of Israel, and Israel is likely to face a historic opportunity with great risks, and a right-wing party will be very vigilant," the Right-wing party said in a statement.
Us President Donald Trump has announced that he will unveil his plan to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict before next Tuesday, and invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his rival Benny Gantz to the White House next week.
