Local and international institutions are preparing to launch an international media campaign under the title "Occupation Kills Prisoners" in the context of media and popular efforts to support the Palestinian prisoners and to support their steadfastness and sacrifices.
The campaign will be launched by Rawasi Palestine in cooperation with media, community and human rights organizations from Palestine and abroad, on Tuesday 22nd of 2019.
It aims to expose the violations of the occupation against Palestinian prisoners, and raise awareness on the issue of prisoners and psychological and physical torture, in addition to unifying media efforts and activating social networking sites under the hashtag "# occupation kills prisoners."
The campaigners seek to expand the scope of participation and work to show the human dimension of the suffering of prisoners and unify efforts under the umbrella of prisoners in light of the continued Israeli violations against them and subjected to the most severe forms of torture and abuse.
The campaign includes a series of "visual and written" information materials that deal with information, facts and figures that reveal the violations of the occupation of Palestinian prisoners and their various methods of killing and torture.
It is expected to witness the participation of activists and tweets on social networking sites in both Arabic and English.
