He pointed out that he was focusing on buying deer called "Desert Reem", which is one of the internationally known species, and it is considered one of the most beautiful types of deer, and eye-licking, and its color is desert, and very sensitive, and maintains its wild nature, indicating that it provided for the existing deer and now number 16, one acre It moves in, knowing that one of the "European" deer is one of them, which is the remainder of a group of deer of this type.

Al-Araj indicated that since 2008 he purchased and raised more than 15 pairs of deer, but due to repeated Israeli attacks, and for other reasons, he lost many of them, indicating that this type of deer hurts and kills himself if he feels the danger, including hearing a loud The explosions caused by the Israeli bombing, which is the same thing he does when someone tries to catch him, as this type of deer behaves aggressively towards themselves, not the others.

Many zoos in Gaza were damaged in recent years by the Israeli aggression and blockade of the Strip, and many animals died in them, while international organizations transported a number of animals that were infected and nearly died due to lack of medical care for them to other countries.

Al-Araj explained that he currently has 16 gazelle, all of them born locally (at his home), and that the majority of this type "reem" found throughout the Gaza Strip is from the birth of the female deer that he has, noting that they reproduce at a rate twice a year, and give birth to only one gazelle.

He pointed out that medical care and general care is not easy, and that deer need special care, and that it provides them with food from vegetables, alfalfa, fodder and others, as well as places for sleeping and protecting them from any danger, or any conflict between males and females from them, to protect them from any harm Subjectively.
