The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that two deaths, 696 new cases of corona, and 767 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours, after performing 5471 examinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health said, in a statement, that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 69%, while the rate of active infections reached 30.4%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
She added that the two deaths were recorded for a 64-year-old citizen from Bani Na´im in the Hebron Governorate, and for another 63-year-old citizen from Al-Abidiya, Bethlehem Governorate.
It indicated that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (102), Nablus Governorate (71), Bethlehem Governorate (48), Qalqilya Governorate (48), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (71), Jenin (5), Jericho and Al-Aghwar ( 33), Tubas (20), Tulkarm (13), Salfit (10), the Gaza Strip (87), the suburbs of Jerusalem (48), Jerusalem (140).
It added that new cases of recovery were recorded in: Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (270), Tulkarm Governorate (8), Qalqilya Governorate (33), Jericho Governorate and Al-Aghwar Governorate (23), Hebron Governorate (327), Salfit Governorate (1), Jerusalem City. (80), Gaza Strip (25).
She pointed out that there are 27 patients in intensive care rooms, including 4 patients on artificial respirators.
