Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Sunday evening at his office in Jerusalem with US President Jason Greenblatt´s Middle East envoy.
The two sides discussed efforts to reach a lull in the Gaza Strip and the "Deal of the century", according to the website of the newspaper "Yediot Aharanot".
Last Wednesday, Greenblatt arrived in Israel, a visit that came against the backdrop of estimates that the Trump administration intends to present the peace plan between Israel and the Palestinians soon.
On Saturday, Greenblatt met with Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni at the US ambassador´s house in Israel, David Friedman.
The Trump administration is expected to announce the "Deal of the century" before the end of this year, or the beginning of next year, according to Israeli media.
