Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The international community is complicit in the occupation by continuing its silence on the Abu Malous massacre

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered that the international community is a partner and accomplice to the Israeli occupation by continuing its silence on the massacres committed by the occupying forces, the latest of which is the massacre of the Abu Malousus family in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip after the destruction of its house on the heads of its inhabitants, which led to the death of eight members of the same family Including children and women, in a mass massacre added to the occupation State´s record of heinous crimes.

The ministry said in a statement, thursday according to the official agency: "The recognition of the occupation government´s responsibility for killing this Palestinian family and destroying its home under the pretext of targeting a leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, is an official and public confession to commit this brutal crime, and a blatant challenge to the community International and its values and disregard for human values, morals and principles."

She explained that this crime against the Gaza family took place in full view of the world, and in the context of the brutal and criminal occupation of our people in the Gaza Strip, which killed dozens of martyrs and wounded, and caused considerable destruction of the property and homes of citizens.

The Ministry stressed that the recent crimes of occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip are unequivocal evidence of the need to provide international protection to our people and the importance of holding the political, military and security leaders of the occupation accountable.

The ministry called on various human rights, humanitarian and international organizations, notably the Human Rights Council, to shoulder their responsibilities and fulfil their legal and moral obligations towards our people and their suffering, and to take the necessary measures to punish the occupying Power for its actions and crimes.
