Miladinov: An agreement to arrange the exit of patients from Gaza

The UN envoy for the Middle East peace process, Nikolai Miladinov, announced today, Monday, that an agreement had been reached on a temporary arrangement to allow patients from Gaza to go out for treatment outside it.

"It has been agreed on a temporary arrangement to support Palestinian patients and their companions from Gaza to access basic health services outside the Strip," Miladinov said in a tweet on his Twitter account.

Miladinov did not reveal any details about the agreement, which seems to have been concluded in agreement with the Israeli side, as part of the understandings on restoring calm in the Gaza Strip.

He thanked his deputy, Jimmy McGoldrick, and the UNESCO General Office for their tireless work with all parties on the agreement.
