33 civilians were injured today, Tuesday, after the occupation forces assaulted them while they were trying to confront the provocative flags march carried out by settlers in Bab Al-Amud in Jerusalem, during which a number of citizens were arrested and assaulted.
The settlers headed this evening, Tuesday, to the Al-Buraq Wall plaza, starting from Bab Al-Amoud Square in Jerusalem, which they stormed under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, although it was not part of the plan of the agreement with the Israeli police.

According to the Hebrew newspaper, Haaretz, the settlers went to Bab al-Amoud Square to perform the flags dance and chanted “Death to the Arabs,” while the Hebrew “Channel 20” reported that the settlers chanted “Death to Muhammad Deif,” the commander-in-chief of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas.
Amid shouts of “Death to Arabs” and calls for the burning of Palestinian villages, far-right MK Itamar Ben Gvir arrived at Bab al-Amoud square.
Hundreds of settlers, carrying Israeli flags, gathered on Prophets Street in Jerusalem, accompanied by a number of Likud members, and then proceeded with a march to Bab al-Amud.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces arrested a Palestinian young man from Bab al-Amud Square after he arrived at the place despite the strict security measures and tried to attack settlers, while a soldier of the occupation cavalry division fell during the confrontations in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud, as well as smashed a bus of settlers on Salah al-Din Street in occupied Jerusalem.
On the other hand, the occupation forces prevented dozens of buses from entering the city of Jerusalem.
