Israeli military expert Ron Ben Yishai said the army is preparing for a military operation against the Gaza Strip next summer, but it will not be before Israel´s Independence Day celebrations in May.
According to Ben Yishai in an article published in Yedioth Ahronoth, the army has occurred from his military plans to attack Gaza, and awaits the recommendations of the next prime minister, whether Benjamin Netanyahu or Benny Gantz.
He indicated that the army would seek through its next operation to move quickly to stop the war of attrition that Hamas is waging on the border.
