Polls days ahead of Israel´s second general election this year show fierce competition between the two main parties.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu´s right-wing Likud party and the centrist White Blue Party are expected to exceed 30 seats in the Israeli Knesset, but polls are divided over which party will lead Tuesday´s election.
The rule of Israel depends on the formation of a coalition that includes a majority of members of the 120-seat parliament.
However, no poll showed an absolute majority of a tried-and-tested coalition of right-wing and religious parties without the inclusion of ultra-right-wing Avigdor Lieberman.
Lieberman refused to support Netanyahu´s government after the April elections, leading to a vote on the dissolution of the Knesset.
