The Israeli Channel 12 reported this evening, Saturday, that the health authorities will destroy thousands of Corona vaccines, worth millions of shekels.
The channel confirmed that the Israeli Ministry of Health is expected to throw about 80,000 Pfizer vaccines against Corona, which cost 6 million shekels, in the trash tomorrow.
She pointed out that these vaccines expire today, Saturday, and are considered the largest amount of vaccinations that Israel has disposed of.
The channel said that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against Corona in Israel, Israel has made great efforts not to neglect any vaccines, and even signed a deal with South Korea in which the Koreans received 700,000 vaccines from Israel, which the Palestinian Authority rejected due to its near expiry date.
