The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court announced today, Friday, that she wants to open a comprehensive investigation into possible war crimes in the Palestinian territories.
She said Fatou Bensouda: "He expressed satisfaction about the existence of a reasonable basis for further investigation of the situation in Palestine."
She added that before the opening of the investigation, will ask the court, based in The Hague, to decide what is the territory covered within its powers, because Israel is not a member of the Court.
