Today, Tuesday, Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila announced the registration of death, 162 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 154 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new death was recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She said that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarm (4), Qalqilya (2), Jenin (3), Hebron (3), and the Gaza Strip (150), noting that 2526 examinations were conducted.
She added that the new cases of recovery were distributed in the governorates as follows: Jenin (3), the outskirts of Jerusalem (1), Ramallah (2), noting that the recovery rate reached 98.2%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.7%, and the death rate was 1.1 % of all injuries.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 8 patients in intensive care rooms, including one on ventilators, while 16 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 497,232, of whom 359,393 received the two doses of the vaccine.
