A Palestinian audience in the Gaza Strip on Monday raised the body of a 29-year-old martyr Ahmed Abu Jabal, who was reportedly killed on Sunday, when he was wounded by the end of last month during a weekly naval march at Zikim.
The funeral procession from Shifa ´ hospital in Gaza City went to the martyr´s house in al-Shujaiyah neighborhood east of Gaza City to take a final farewell look before praying and burying his body in the Martyrs Cemetery.
The participants at the funeral raised the Palestinian flag and the factions ´ banners, amid chanting slogans calling for resistance to respond to the ongoing violations of the occupation of the pacification understandings and deliberately targeting unarmed civilians during their participation in the marches.
