The Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip announced, this evening, Tuesday, new measures aimed at confronting the outbreak of the Corona virus, in light of the increasing number of infections.
According to the ministry´s statement, it was decided to impose the night closure at 9:00 pm, starting next Saturday, March 27, 2021.
It was also decided to prevent the establishment of funeral homes and wedding parties in the streets as of its date, with the number of attendees in wedding halls limited to 100 people only, and in the event of the number of commitment, immediate measures will be taken to close the halls.
The decision includes preventing gatherings in public places and parks, with the intensification of field follow-up by the police and the Coronavirus investigation for all facilities that provide service to citizens.
It was decided to work on increasing measures in controlling popular markets, achieving divergence, and taking all safety measures.
The Ministry called on citizens to take all personal precautions, and to wear a mask, in order to ensure public safety.
