Director of the Infection Control Department at the Ministry of Health in Gaza said today, Sunday, that if citizens continue to deal with preventive measures with negligence, recommendations will be submitted to the competent authorities to impose a complete closure in the Strip.
Al-Abadla explained in a statement that reaching this stage aims to protect citizens from the epidemic, especially with the arrival of winter.
He pointed out that social and family bonds are the main reason for the expansion of the virus in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that the number of HIV infections in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip is very high compared to the total number of infections at the sector level.
He stated that the percentage of citizens in the sector to wear a mask does not exceed 10%, and that adherence to safety and preventive measures needs solidarity from everyone.
