A diplomatic source revealed that a ceasefire agreement had been reached in the Gaza Strip from 5:30 a.m. Thursday to Egyptian efforts.
The source said that "in light of the approval of the Palestinian factions and The Islamic Jihad movement on the Egyptian proposal for an immediate ceasefire and the maintenance of peaceful return marches, and Israel´s approval of the Egyptian proposal for an immediate cease-fire and a cessation of assassinations, as well as a cease-fire towards Demonstrators at the return marches agreed to a ceasefire as of 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 14."
A senior diplomatic source, who revealed to a local news agency on Wednesday evening, that intensive Egyptian efforts will lead to a return to calm in Gaza in the coming hours.
