The researcher in prisoner affairs, Abdel Nasser Farwana, stated that in 2015, more than 30 thousand cases of detention were registered by the Israeli occupation.
According to a Verwana post on his Facebook page, the number of arrests has escalated since that year in an unprecedented way.
He pointed out that the occupation stepped up its repression of the prisoners, harming them and tightening their grip, considering that what happened in recent years is an organized crime.
Farwana mentioned that the occupation issued several racist laws against the prisoners, stating that the laws aimed to authorize the arrest of children, the severity of the punishment against them, the narrowing of the screws on the prisoners, the abuse of their national personality and the strengthening of the Israeli narrative by introducing the world as if they were "criminals and killers" and not fighters and fighters for Freedom, in a miserable Israeli attempt to criminalize the struggles and struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom and independence.
Farwana called all the institutions and committees concerned with the participation of prisoners in prisons to the necessity of meeting, discussing and agreeing on a national vision and a practical plan to confront the Israeli measures against the prisoners, and the danger they pose to the issue.
