The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of a death, 71 new infections with the Corona virus, and 62 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new death was recorded in the Gaza Strip, while no deaths were recorded in the West Bank governorates.
She said that the new infections were recorded in the governorates as follows: Jenin (4), Tulkarm (1), Bethlehem (1), Nablus (2), Hebron (2), and the Gaza Strip (61), noting that 2,840 examinations were conducted. .
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (8), Nablus (5), Hebron (2), Tulkarm (2), and the Gaza Strip (45), explaining that the recovery rate from the virus in Palestine amounted to 98.4%, while it was The rate of active injuries is 0.5%, and the death rate is 1.1% of all injuries.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 9 injured in intensive care rooms, while 15 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
With regard to the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 565,552, including 400,560 who received both doses of the vaccine.
