Today, the occupation forces suppressed an activity to mark the forty-fifth anniversary of Earth Day in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.
The occupation forces fired metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the participants in a mass march that started from the center of Sebastia to hold an event marking Earth Day inside the archaeological area, which led to suffocation injuries.
As a result, clashes and confrontations took place between the marchers and the occupation soldiers.
The occupation forces stormed the archaeological area in the morning in large numbers, and imposed a tight cordon around it to secure protection for hundreds of settlers who later stormed the area.
