Casualties, including live bullets, during the occupation´s suppression of demonstrations in the West Bank

115 Palestinians were injured and suffocated, Monday evening, during clashes that erupted after the occupation army´s suppression of sporadic demonstrations in the occupied West Bank, according to a statement issued by the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

The association said that its crews "dealt with two injuries with live bullets, 20 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens of suffocation injuries during separate confrontations in the West Bank."

She explained that the injuries occurred during clashes at the Qalandia military checkpoint separating Ramallah and Jerusalem, the northern entrance to Bethlehem, and in the city of Jenin, Hebron, and Azzun, east of Qalqilya.

On Monday evening, sporadic confrontations broke out in the West Bank, between hundreds of Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces, denouncing the Israeli practices in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

The army used live and metal bullets, and tear gas canisters, to disperse the demonstrators. The Palestinians responded by throwing stones at the occupation forces, and setting fire to rubber tires.

After the Tarawih prayers, rallies took place in separate locations in the West Bank, with the participation of hundreds of Palestinians, amid chants condemning the Israeli violations, and others in support of those stationed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.

On Monday evening, 20 Palestinians, including 9 children, were killed in the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.

On Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, using rubber bullets, sound and gas bombs, before withdrawing, leaving more than 334 injuries among Palestinians, including paramedics, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the city of Jerusalem has witnessed attacks by the Israeli police forces and settlers in the area of ​​"Bab al-Amud", the "Sheikh Jarrah" neighborhood, and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
