It was revealed that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak continued to hold meetings with party officials opposing the current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the 10th Hebrew channel, Barak met last Wednesday with Avi Gabay, leader of the Labor Party and one of the opposition leaders, to discuss the political situation in Israel.
The channel noted that Barak had met with Tzipi Livni and Moshe Ya´alon, noting that Barak would meet with more opponents of Netanyahu in an attempt to form an alliance against him.
According to the channel, deciding on the issue of the bloc left and center will not take place until an election date is set.
