The Arab parliament on Thursday strongly condemned Israeli calls for the life of President Mahmoud Abbas, describing them as a "terrorist".
"The Parliament has followed with great concern the calls made by Zionist terrorist organizations and groups within the Israeli occupation state, which demand that the occupying army liquidate President Mahmoud Abbas because of its persistence and its response to all attempts to undermine the rights," said Arab parliament speaker Dr. Meshaal Al-Salma in a statement today. Of the Palestinian people to return and their right to establish their independent state and its attachment to Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Palestine.
Al-Salma expressed the strong condemnation and condemnation of these terrorist calls by the Arab Parliament, warning of the disastrous consequences for them and all inflammatory calls.
The Israeli occupying government has taken full responsibility for the consequences of these calls, which are aimed at undermining the life of the Palestinian president.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community, especially the United Nations General Assembly, the UN Security Council and international organizations, to condemn these inflammatory and terrorist calls against President Abbas.
He also called for immediate and urgent intervention and legal responsibility to address Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and to implement the UN General Assembly resolution on the protection of the Palestinian people in all the occupied Palestinian territories.
He called for action to compel the brute force of occupation to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy, respect the Charter of the United Nations, international conventions, treaties and principles on the Palestinian question, end the occupation of Arab territories and proclaim the independent and sovereign State of Palestine on the 1967 borders. Its capital is the city of Jerusalem.
