The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 18 deaths, 861 new cases of Coronavirus, and 1,100 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
She said that 7 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Nablus 1, Salfit 3, Hebron 1, Bethlehem 2,” and 11 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tulkarm 36, the suburbs of Jerusalem 9, Nablus 98, Tubas 17, Jenin 59, Salfit 4, Hebron 26, Qalqilya 5, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 29, Bethlehem 6,” and the Gaza Strip 572.
Al-Keela added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 10, Jerusalem suburbs 3, Nablus 225, Tubas 19, Jenin 81, Salfit 18, Hebron 49, Qalqilya 26, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 34, Bethlehem 13, Jericho and Al Aghwar 10. And the Gaza Strip 612.
She explained that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 92.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 6.5%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 142 patients in intensive care rooms, including 40 patients on artificial respirators, while 361 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 257,650, of whom 183,999 received the two doses of the vaccine.
