The number of Palestinians injured during friday´s return marches in the eastern Gaza Strip rose to 97, including four medics and two journalists.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a brief statement that as of 7:45 p.m. (local time), 97 palestinians had been injured, 49 of them live bullets fired by Israeli occupying forces during the return marches and breaking the siege in the eastern Gaza Strip.
Four medics and two journalists were also wounded by israeli fire, the statement added.
Since March 30, 2018, Palestinians have been participating in peaceful marches near the fence between the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Palestinian Territories in 1948, demanding the return of refugees to their towns and villages from which they were displaced in 1948 and the siege of Gaza broken.
