Today, Wednesday, dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the city of Jerusalem, under the escort of members of the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments Department stated, in press statements, that 88 extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in groups from the Al-Mughrabi Gate, before leaving it from Bab Al-Silsila. It is expected that a number of other settlers will storm the mosque, in the period after the noon prayer. In the same context, the Israeli occupation police prevented a group of Palestinian women coming from the West Bank from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the "Bab Al-Sahira" area, and editing their identities, as part of its deliberate steps to restrict worshipers and besiege Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily (except for Friday and Saturday) incursions and violations by settlers and the Israeli police, and on two shifts in the morning and evening.
