53 Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa mosque

The Israeli occupation police and its special forces on Monday secured the full protection of dozens of Jewish settlers during their incursion into the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on the side of the "Bab al-Mughrabi".

According to our correspondent, quoting sources in the Islamic Waqf department in occupied Jerusalem, 53 Jewish settlers stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning.

The sources said that the Israeli police deployed troops along with elements of the armed special Forces, on Sunday morning, to secure incursions by Jewish settlers.

She noted that 41 settlers had stormed Al-Aqsa from the "Bab al-Mughrabi", which has been under the control of the occupation since 1967, and toured its courtyards on specific routes with the police.

She explained that 12 settler students from religious institutes also stormed the mosque during the same break-up period.

The incursions are carried out on a daily basis, in two mornings and evenings, for four and a half hours, from Bab al-Mughrabi to the "Bab al-Series".
