Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 13 deaths, 718 new cases of Coronavirus and 1,502 recoveries had been recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily epidemiological report on the Corona virus in Palestine, Minister Al-Kaila explained that 6 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Jenin 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Tulkarm 1, Nablus 2”, and 7 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Jenin 44, Tulkarm 24, Nablus 66, Hebron 50, Salfit 9, Qalqilya 8, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 48, the suburbs of Jerusalem 3, Bethlehem 5, Tubas 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1”, The Gaza Strip 458.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 93.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 5.5%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Jenin 51, Tulkarm 16, Nablus 241, Hebron 24, Salfit 19, Qalqilya 18, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 115, Jerusalem suburbs 0, Bethlehem 11, Tubas 11, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2”, Gaza Strip 994 .
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 129 patients in intensive care rooms, including 41 patients on artificial respirators, while 330 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 259,507, including 190,051, who received the two doses of the vaccine.
