The Education Department of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has announced that it has taken preventive measures against the Corona virus inside its schools in the Gaza Strip.
The department distributed a circular to school principals to adhere to the new instructions that included stopping school trips, reducing unnecessary school gatherings such as ceremonies, workshops, etc., and limiting the morning school queue to organizing students and entering them directly, and reducing congestion in front of the canteens.
She indicated that these precautions are to prevent infection among students, and were taken after consultations by the UNRWA administration, and in compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
